  1. know what you want to do and be sure about it, there's no need to rush anything because its your movie and you gotta know what you wanna do.
  2. Don't always follow exactly what you say switch it up sometimes and as your filming you might catch something and want to add it to your timeline, as long as it goes with your story then your fine and don't have nothing to worry about
  3. If you have a favorite directer and you like his style, study his films try to copy some ideas of how he films and use camera angles cause his style might fit best for you in your future.
  4. Once again as rule number one rake your time and know what your doing.
  5. Communication is important this plays a role as in know what your doing, have things ready so that when you present it to your actors they are also ready and not confused because actors are always confuse on the set.
  6. Friends can also play an important role, they can help you do things that you want to do with your film and they might have things you need to put in your film to help you later on in the future.
  7. Helps you create shots, and so that you can plan out your shots for the best.
  8. Spending alot of time on one little thing is best because the quality will turn out great.
  9. avoid fights because obviously that would be bad for everyone.
  10. sometimes the sets may be hot so always stay hydrated, you may be filming for hours.
  11. it doesn't matter what kind of gear you got if the audience is enjoying it then your good.
  12. Respect your workers, don't tell them how to do their jobs because they know how, just ease them in to what you want them to do and they will do it to the best of their abilities.
  13. Make you actors feel great into what there doing don't just tell them to go out there and do the job.
  14. If it takes an actor time to do what they are doing its just because they are adjusting and trying to do the best job they can do.
  15. Once you finish, start planing the next there is more ahead because you learn from your last.
